A look back into my hifi past. circa 1984
Perhaps the smallest hi-fi studio ;-)
Ever since I was young I have been interested in music and its reproduction. Unfortunately, the possibilities were limited in the days of the GDR. But even then there was a really good hi-fi system in my room ;-)
After reunification, my first purchases were a Pioneer tape deck and a mid-range Sony integrated amplifier.
In the course of time, my system got bigger and the equipment changed from time to time.
In the mid-90s, I turned my passion into a part-time job and ran a shop in my hometown of Meerane for a few years. However, for economic and persuasive reasons, I didn't want to follow the trend of multi-channel "gimmickry" at the time.
Because I'm still a passionate stereotype today.
After a break, I'm starting my little business again.
My intention is still to bring the music closer to people as good as their possibilities are. For this reason I also run a living room studio. My goal is to provide advice that is individually tailored to the individual listener.

Unique horn speakers
hORNS' parent company, AUTO-TECH, was founded in 2000 and produces elements made of epoxy and polyester laminate (also using the RIM/PUR process). It also offers services in the area of project planning and prototype development. CAD/CAM software is used to implement part production. ATO-TECH - and thus also hORNS - has state-of-the-art 3D laser scanners and CNC milling machines. Since the owners of AUTO TECH are passionate about the "Hifi hobby", they naturally quickly had the idea of using the company's know-how to build special, unique horn loudspeakers. The first models, the incomparable MUMMY and the breathtaking UNIVERSUM , then appeared in 2010. The more conventionally designed models of the FP series followed shortly afterwards - and of course they also rely on AUTO TECH's high-end technology with their polyester resin sound front. You will hear speakers from the "ARIA" series.
